BuparvaquoneCattle dose, withdrawal and citation, from FieldDx’s free offline veterinary formulary.
What it’s for
Theileriosis in cattle (Theileria annulata, T. parva). Most effective given early; less effective once disease is advanced and there is extensive lymphoid and blood-forming tissue damage. Resistance in T. annulata has been reported in several countries — a poor response can mean resistance, not just late treatment.
